First and foremost the download link - http://www.mediafire.com/?0yigxnh9b7vtiru

First official show back from summer. Been too long, much too much noteworthy music has been released over the summer for even my now extended 4-6 slot on Thursdays. With more time I’d like to start bringing a wider spectrum of tracks to the table in each show. This week is no exception.

New Parisian on Push & Run Compilation

Almost two months ago now, St. Louis producer Parisian came on Electronic Renaissance to chat with us and hit us with a live mix that showed some serious promise.

This week UK label Push & Run released a free compilation featuring new tracks from him alongside Pedestrian, Maribou State, Bodhi, and the illustrious Ifan Dafydd. Stream and download right here on FACT: http://www.factmag.com/2012/06/12/download-a-pack-of-edits-from-push-run-including-ifan-dafydds-no-good/

And download the mix Parisian did in the KSLU studios right here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?6hk0zd6c2e44bd3

You can even hear that ‘hallelujah’ sample in the mix from Malaparte off the compilation right around the middle. Each amazing.

SEAL ON PSYCHEDELICS: my thoughts on: Wasted

sealonpsychedelics:

Wih’lo // Wasted // April 30 // Bandcamp

I don’t always go looking for music to review on Bandcamp as most of the stuff on here is half cooked ideas by bedroom producers just starting out and looking for their sound, but when I do I tend to find something that I enjoy. In this case I found…

Summertime

KSLU is on summer break. It’s been a great first year of Electronic Renaissance.

I’ll be back next fall with an extra hour of time, from 4-6 pm on Thursdays.

I’ll return to this periodically over the summer, but if not, Electronic Renaissance will be back full throttle for next semester and much improved over a first year of settling in.

Thank you for listening.

What an excellent live set Kuhrye-oo put down on Boiler Room today. Keep on the look out for that show recording to be up on the boilerroom.tv if you missed it. This is the Claire Boucher directed music video for For the Fame II.
